Motul products in no way fear cold weather and the red and white logo is highly present once more on the snowy and icy circuits of the 2015/2016 Andros Trophy where Motul is one of the main partners. The 27th edition started at Val Thorens on 5 and 6 December, with Benjamin Rivière as the first leader. Benjamin's Citroën DS3 is entered by a new team, Aérokart by Ohwell, partnered technically by Motul just like team Mazda France.
Last winter, Jean-Philippe Dayraut secured his sixth title at the Andros Trophy at the wheel of a Mazda 3, while bringing to 51 the number of his wins. Jean-Philippe experienced technical problems on Saturday and Sunday at Val Thorens. He came 11th in Elite Pro, three places behind the other Mazda of the Finn, Tomas Heikkinen, but he'll undoubtedly be spitting fire next weekend in Andorra!
As for Andros Electrique's drivers, they're always supercharged. Motul is providing its support to Exagon Engineering, manufacturer of the 100% electric Andros Cars, by developing transmission lubricants. Matthieu Vaxivière, whose car racing for team Loxam bears Motul's logo, dominated the first race.
Last, another partnership concerns motorcycles and the AMV Cup where the Motul 'Coup de Cœur' is awarded at each event for a deserving contender. The leader of the AMV Cup is Sylvain Dabert, whose Team Trebad is supported by Motul as well. The motorcycle paddock is at the Motul structure where riders receive Motul MC Care line products.
